[Concert] Fifty Fifty Session: Loyle Carner & WWWater

FIFTY FIFTY Session is a project launched by Laetitia Van Hove in September 2016. During these sessions, a Belgian artist and an international one are performing. Each monthly concert is intimate and exclusive since the audience is limited to a maximum 180 people. But for those who don’ t get the chance to come in, no worry, the two 25-minute long showcases are streamed live on Facebook and relayed on their partner websites: Les Inrocks, Pure FM, Le Soir, La Fnac and Focus. Plus, the shows are available in replay: to get a sneak peek of the concept, check out the videos online! For more information about the artists who took part in the previous sessions, see below:

First session: Robbing Millions & Papooz

Second session: Tsar B & Agar Agar

Third session: Barbagallo & Hydrogen Sea

Fourth session: Zimmerman & Burning Peacocks

Fifth session: Peter Peter & WUMAN

Sixth session: Tess & Coely

As you can see, FIFTY FIFTY Session does not stick to one kind of music. On the contrary, it merges different styles, vibes, personalities and languages. In sum, it is an ode to music as whole.

While it showcases young artists in an intimate atmosphere, FIFTY FIFTY Session gives them a platform at an international level but also, and above all, in Belgium.

The sessions take place every last Thursday of the month at a secret location in Brussels. Next session is on the 30th and it promises to be great! Loyle Carner and WWWater will make sure you’ll spend a good time.

The London rapper offers a kind of old school hip-hop, a little more laid back than other grime artists. With his deep voice, Loyle Carner delves into key topics such as love, family and music.

WWWater,  also known as Charlotte Adigéry, is a Ghent-based artist.  WWWater‘s project –  a minimalist electronic music with vocals – was born in Martinique, where Charlotte’s mother comes from.
